SLOW ROAD is an experimental project in the area of Greve in Chianti; it aims to strengthen the territory through works of contemporary art and to increase the use of the routes.
The project was conceived by Duccio Trassinelli and Demetria Verduci, founders of La Macina di San Cresci, which since 2004 operates as a cultural association and residence for artists, developing cultural projects.
The Tuscany Region, University of Florence, Municipality of Greve in Chianti, and the historical Furnaces of Impruneta and Greve in Chianti are the partners.
A form of synergy that passes from the direct relationship between students, artists, entrepreneurs and institutions, in terms of teaching and artistic creation.
